Yo, Vocal is a magazine aimed at giving people a voice. It’s about sharing important issues and facilitating conversation. It’s about showcasing journalists, writers, artists, photographers, and people who do amazing things to generate change within society. It’s an authentic, uncensored view of the world, a fresh perspective. Yo, Vocal is packed full of art, music, photography, and journalism. This magazine is made for us, by us.

Yo, Vocal aims to create a space to allow people to express their ideas, giving the reader an authentic view on what life is like from another perspective. This is our mission here at Yo, Vocal - to showcase original content from the epic people spread across Aotearoa New Zealand.

It was important to us here at Yo, Vocal to be mindful of the environment and make it a part of this project. That's why 20% of our profits from the sale of our physical magazine will be donated to an environmental charity. Now, more than ever, we must focus on the wellbeing of our Mother Earth. It is our duty to protect our oceans for both ourselves and the marine life, so that we - and the generations that come after us - can keep frothing for years to come.
